EXCITE Project
This collection of shareable videos and images was created for a public interest campaign geared towards migrant and seasonal farmworkers in southern New Mexico, part of the EXCITE Project. Our goal is to encourage these hardworking individuals to prioritize their health by getting vaccinated against preventable diseases. With generous funding from the USDA National Institute of Food and Agriculture and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, this initiative aims to promote vaccine confidence and uptake in medically underserved communities. Created in collaboration with the New Mexico State University Cooperative Extension Service Innovative Media Research & Extension, the New Mexico Department of Health, and the nonprofit organization Help NM, our media materials provide informative resources to empower farmworkers in making informed decisions about their health.
